Ajaokuta Stakeholders Rally Behind Governor Ododo for Second Term

Prominent stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) last weekend gathered to endorse the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for a second term in office.

The meeting, held at the residence of the former APC Party Chairman of the Ajaokuta Chapter, Hon. Hussein Balogun, brought together party stalwarts, former and current elected leaders, political appointees, permanent secretaries, and other critical stakeholders.

The focal point of the gathering was fostering peace and collaboration among Ajaokuta leaders for the greater good of the community.

Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, the Federal Lawmaker representing Ajaokuta and the Apex leader of the APC in the area, commended Governor Ododo for his exemplary leadership and expressed gratitude to former Governor Yahaya Bello for ensuring a worthy successor.

The lawmaker emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation in driving development within the local government, noting that he will continue to collaborate with everyone to bring about remarkable progress in the community.

Highlighting the achievements of the Kogi State Government under Governor Ododo’s leadership, the Commissioner for Urban and Housing provided an overview of the administration’s successes, setting the stage for further discussions.

In a demonstration of unanimous support, Dr. Musa Sandra Mimi, SA on SEMA, proposed a motion endorsing Governor Ododo for another term, which was met with enthusiastic agreement from all stakeholders, echoing the rallying cry of “no vacancy in Lugard House.”

Concluding the meeting, the Party Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Ajaokuta Chapter expressed heartfelt appreciation for the stakeholders’ recognition of Governor Ododo’s impactful leadership. He assured everyone that the APC administration remains committed to delivering effective governance for the benefit of all citizens.
