Kogi SSAs’ Forum Elects New Executive Council

The Kogi State Forum of Senior Special Assistants (KSFSSA), has elected a new set of Executives to steer the affairs of the body. This development came following the successful conduct of the forum’s 2nd Elective Congress, during which all previously vacant leadership positions were duly filled.

In total, fifteen Executive members were sworn into office, representing various portfolios within the administration. The newly elected Executives are:

Hon. Joseph Omeiza, SSA on Commerce – Chairman, Hon. Isiaka S. Ibrahim, SSA on Energy – Vice Chairman, Hon. Eleta Oluseyi Kelvin, SSA on Fraud and Internet Matters – Secretary

Others are: Hon. Ibrahim Saidu, SSA on Pipeline – Financial Secretary, Hon. Godwin S.B, SSA on Youth Mobilization – Treasurer; Hon. Adori Tijani, SSA on Drug Abuse – Assistant Secretary; Hon. Mary Ameh, SSA on Grassroots Sensitization – Organizing Secretary; Hon. Komolafe Dennis, SSA on Inter-Party Affairs – Auditor; Hon. Omachonu Innocent, SSA on Erosion and Flood – Public Relations Officer; Hon. Paul Jacob Sunday, SSA on Corporate Social Responsibilities – Assistant PRO; Hon. Nanahawa Kazeem, SSA on Education – Director, Welfare; Hon. Mariam Yahaya, SSA on Livelihood – Director, Contact and Mobilization; Hon. Ibrahim Grace, SSA on Youth and Women – Director, Women Affairs; Hon. Isah Abubakar, SSA on Urban Development – Director, Project Monitoring; Hon. Abdulhameed Otaru, SSA on Agricultural Development – Provost Marshal.

    The ELCOM Committee, chaired by Hon. Maxwell Emmanuel, culminated in the peaceful transition of leadership, as the Acting Chairman, Hon. Isah Ojodunwene, alongside other outgoing Executives from the inaugural congress, formally stepped down to allow the newly elected team to assume office.

    Hon. Emmanuel commended all participants for their conduct and extended his congratulations to the incoming Executives.

    In his acceptance remarks, the new Chairman, Hon. Joseph Omeiza, expressed appreciation to members of the forum for entrusting him and other officers with the responsibility to lead. He also acknowledged the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo (FCA), for the opportunity accorded all SSAs to contribute meaningfully to the governance process.

    The event concluded with the reaffirmation of commitment by all Executives and forum members to continue supporting the Governor’s vision for progress across all parts of the state. They pledged to remain dedicated and responsive in the discharge of their respective duties, working collectively to enhance service delivery and performance.
