Kogi Poly Rector Commiserates with Governor Ododo Over Father’s Demise
The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has extended condolences to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the passing of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, who died at the age of 83.
In a condolence message issued on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Academic Board, staff, and students of the institution, Prof. Usman described the news of the elder statesman’s death as a painful loss.
He, however, noted that the late Alhaji Momohsani Ododo lived a fulfilled and impactful life devoted to the service of Allah, his family, and the community.
“We pray to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings, accept his acts of worship and good deeds, and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus,” the Rector stated.
Prof. Usman also prayed for strength and fortitude for Governor Ododo, the Ododo family, and the people of Kogi State to bear the irreparable loss, adding that the memory of the late patriarch would remain a blessing to all.
