The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, has congratulated Nigerians as the country marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, describing the day as a celebration of resilience, unity, and the indomitable spirit of the people.

In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday, Anyebe extended warm felicitations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, as well as the government and people of the state.

He said Nigeria’s 65-year journey has been marked by challenges that tested the collective will of its people, yet the nation continues to stand tall through the courage of citizens and the visionary leadership of its leaders.

The Commissioner highlighted the pivotal role of Nigerian youths in shaping the country’s future, noting that they remain the “vanguard of innovation, creativity, and patriotism.” He reaffirmed the Ododo-led administration’s commitment to harnessing their energy and talents for the development of Kogi State and the nation at large.

“At 65, we must renew our commitment to unity, peace, and progress. Let us all work together, hand in hand, to build the Nigeria of our dreams, a nation where opportunities abound for every citizen, and where the spirit of excellence thrives in every sector,” he stated.

Anyebe further prayed for peace, growth, and prosperity for both Kogi State and Nigeria.
