Kogi Poly Rector Congratulates Maimunat Eke Audu on NEMSA Appointment
The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has congratulated Barrister Maimunat Eke Audu on her appointment as the Executive Director, Commercial Services of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Professor Ogbo described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that it was a recognition of Barrister Audu’s dedication, loyalty, humility and commitment to excellence.
The Rector recalled working closely with Barrister Audu during the electioneering campaign for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, where she demonstrated exceptional passion, leadership charisma, sincerity of purpose, and humility.
He further noted that her new role was also a testament to the enduring legacy of service and leadership bequeathed to her by her late father, former Governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu.
“I have no doubt that in this new role, you will continue to distinguish yourself with the same diligence, integrity and selfless devotion that have defined your career and endeared you to many within and outside the public service,” the statement read.
While praying for her success, Professor Ogbo urged Barrister Audu to bring her wealth of experience to bear in advancing the growth, efficiency and service delivery of NEMSA, as well as contributing to the overall progress of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
