Echocho Confirms Site for Construction of 20-Bed Clinic in Omedo Ajogobi, Ankpa LGA »

The office of Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho) has confirmed the approved location for a new 20-bed clinic in Omedo Ajogobi, Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State, a development expected to improve access to quality healthcare for rural communities in the area.

A delegation led by Alhaji Akpa Omale visited the Palace of the Onu Ankpa, Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar, to formally brief the traditional ruler on the Senator’s commitment to delivering the project. Alhaji Omale noted that the Senator has remained consistent in pushing essential infrastructure to underserved communities, adding that Omedo Ajogobi was selected due to its long-standing need for reliable medical services.

The Onu Ankpa, Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar, expressed deep appreciation to Senator Jibrin for placing the welfare of his people at the forefront. He offered prayers for the success of the project and pledged the traditional institution’s full support throughout its implementation.

Following the briefing, the Senator’s team and palace officials jointly inspected and confirmed the designated site. Construction is expected to begin in the coming days, with assurances that the facility will be adequately equipped to meet the healthcare needs of residents upon completion.
