Kogi Poly Rector Celebrates State Accountant General, Habibat Onumoko on Her Birthday
The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has congratulated the Accountant General of Kogi State, Dr. Habibat Tijani Onumoko, on the occasion of her birthday, describing her as a dedicated public servant and a strong supporter of education and good governance.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Academic Board, staff and students of the institution, the Rector commended Dr. Onumoko for her remarkable service to Kogi State and her consistent commitment to transparency, accountability and development in public finance management.
Professor Usman noted that the Accountant General’s compassion for the underprivileged and her unwavering support for educational institutions have continued to make a positive impact across the state, particularly among young people.
He further described Dr. Onumoko as a detribalised and merit-driven leader whose exemplary character has earned her wide respect and admiration.
The Rector also expressed the Polytechnic’s appreciation for her steady support and encouragement, which he said have contributed significantly to the growth and progress of the institution.
Professor Usman prayed for good health, wisdom and renewed strength for the Accountant General, wishing her many more fruitful and impactful years in service to Kogi State and humanity.
Dr. Habibat Tijani Onumoko currently serves as the Accountant General of Kogi State.
