Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, Chairman of the Special Advisers’ Forum and Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Energy Matters, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to public service, leadership, and community development.

The prestigious honour was presented during the 40th anniversary celebration of KabbaScope Newspaper, a landmark event that attracted eminent personalities from across Nigeria, cutting across religious, academic, political, and professional spheres.

The well-attended ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including His Eminence, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, former Archbishop of Abuja; Dr Ralph Arokoyo; and Dr. (Mrs.) Jagboro, former Provost of the College of Education (Technical), Mopa, alongside several other notable personalities who gathered to celebrate excellence, service, and the enduring legacy of the newspaper.

According to the organisers, the award was bestowed on Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi in recognition of his consistent dedication to public service, ethical leadership, and his people-oriented approach to governance, which has continued to impact lives positively within and beyond Okunland.

He further emphasised that the award serves as motivation for Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi to continue contributing meaningfully to societal growth, public enlightenment, and the promotion of good governance at all levels.

The 40th anniversary celebration of KabbaScope Newspaper also served as a moment of reflection on the publication’s four decades of commitment to truth, accountability, and grassroots journalism, reinforcing its role as a critical voice in community development and public discourse.

The event ended on a high note, with goodwill messages, commendations for KabbaScope’s resilience over the years, and renewed calls for leaders and citizens alike to uphold integrity and service to humanity.
