Kogi Poly Felicitates with Gov. Ododo on his Birthday »

Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has congratulated Kogi State Governor and Visitor to the institution, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the occasion of his birthday, describing his leadership as inspiring, inclusive and development-driven.

In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, Alumni, staff and students of the polytechnic, the Rector, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, said the governor’s style of leadership has continued to instill hope and confidence across the state.

The institution noted that Governor Ododo’s commitment to service, humility and generosity has given deeper meaning to the celebration of his birthday, while his approach to governance has translated into visible improvements in both rural and urban communities.

According to the statement, the governor has demonstrated sincerity and courage in his role as Chief Servant of the people, with tangible impacts seen in infrastructure renewal, community development and improved living standards for residents of the state.

The polytechnic also commended the governor for sustaining and consolidating the New Direction Project initiated under the immediate past administration of former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, adding that the gains of the initiative have been strengthened with renewed vision and purpose.

Prof. Usman expressed particular appreciation for Governor Ododo’s support for Kogi State Polytechnic, noting that his guidance and principle of non-interference have helped preserve the institution’s autonomy, strengthen academic standards and promote stability, innovation and excellence.

The institution further praised the governor for his efforts in consolidating democratic gains and strengthening the state’s security architecture.

Kogi State Polytechnic concluded by praying for divine guidance, protection and wisdom for Governor Ododo as he continues to lead the state toward greater growth and prosperity.
