Kogi West NYCN Congratulate Prof. Avideme on New Role at Kogi State Polytechnic »

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi West Chapter, has congratulated Professor S. S. Avideme on his appointment and assumption of office as Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.

In a statement signed by the Vice Chairman of the council in Kogi West, Comrade Adeyemi Emmanuel Gbenga (Skipo), the youth body described Professor Avideme’s appointment as well-deserved, noting that it reflects his academic excellence, visionary leadership, and commitment to educational development.

The council stated that the confidence reposed in the new Rector by relevant authorities underscores the trust in his capacity to reposition the institution for greater achievements. According to the statement, Professor Avideme’s leadership is expected to usher in a new era of academic innovation, infrastructural development, and youth empowerment within the polytechnic community.

The NYCN further expressed optimism that his wealth of experience would inspire both staff and students, while promoting discipline, creativity, and peaceful coexistence on campus.
