NYCN Kogi West Congratulates New Federal University Lokoja Vice-Chancellor »

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi West Chapter, has congratulated Professor Solomon Olugbenga Ibileye on his appointment as the 4th Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja.

In a statement signed by the Vice Chairman of the council in Kogi West, Comrade Adeyemi Emmanuel Gbenga (Skipo), the youth body described Professor Ibileye’s emergence as a reflection of his distinguished academic career, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to advancing higher education in Nigeria.

The council noted that the appointment demonstrates the confidence reposed in him by relevant stakeholders to reposition the university for greater accomplishments. According to the statement, his wealth of experience and passion for education are expected to usher in a new era of academic innovation, groundbreaking research, and youth empowerment within the institution.

The NYCN expressed optimism that Professor Ibileye’s tenure would inspire both staff and students, fostering discipline, creativity, and peaceful coexistence across the university community.

The Kogi West youth body also pledged its support and readiness to collaborate with the new Vice-Chancellor in promoting education, skill acquisition, and purposeful leadership for the benefit of young people in the state.
