Lokoja LG Chair Pays Working Visit To VC Federal University Lokoja »

Lokoja Local Government Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu, on Tuesday paid a working visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University, Lokoja, Professor Gbenga Ibileye in his office.

During the visit, areas of mutual interest as it affects Lokoja Local Government Area, ways to further strengthen collaboration and synergy between the Institution and the host community especially in the area of security, employment opportunities were discussed.

While appreciating the visit, the VC expressed his appreciation for the acceptance and the support he enjoyed from the Council Chairman when he was vying for the position.

He appeal and urged well to do Lokoja sons and daughters to come and join hands and build the Institution to an enviable height.

Comrade Adamu assured the VC that the Local Government Area and her indigenes are ready, willing and would continue to partner with Institution like they did with his predecessor, Prof. Akinwunmi.
