Admiral Jibrin Attends Burial Ceremony of Late Sen. Alex Kadiri »

Admiral Usman Jibrin, a prominent leader in Kogi State, has expressed his heartfelt condolences over the passing of Dr. Alex Kadiri, a renowned politician and statesman. Jibrin praised Kadiri’s dedication to the Igala people and his unwavering commitment to their political welfare.

Through his statement, Admiral Jibrin called for unity and peace in Kogi State, urging the people to come together and work towards a brighter future. The former chief of Naval Staff emphasised the importance of building on the legacy left by Dr. Achema, Dr. Kadiri, and Prince Abubakar Audu by fostering a spirit of collaboration and progress.

In his words, “Dr. Alex Kadiri was a former senator representing Kogi East senatorial district, a jolly good fellow with a forgiving spirit and a people-centred personality. We pray to God to grant him eternal life and protect the family he has left behind. I call on the Igala people to allow unity to prevail in the kingdom. My advice to the youth is for them to respect elders and learn from the past.”.

Jibrin joined other dignitaries in paying tribute to Kadiri, who was known for his leadership and administrative skills. Kadiri passed away at the age of 81.
