Affiliation: CUSTECH set to admit NKFI NID graduates into 200level
In furtherance to explore areas of partnership, a proposed affiliation has been hinted between Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara and Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute (NKFI).
This was made known during a technical discussion between both institution’s management, when a delegation of NKFI management team led by its Rector, Mr. Charles Toyin Williams visited the Osara campus of CUSTECH on Wednesday.
In his remarks the Rector noted that CUSTECH as a pro Science and Technology oriented institution would form a dependable ally with NKFI in furthering learning and students of both institutes could benefit from the relationship
He alluded that aside from CUSTECH being able to admit NKFI NID graduates into its 200 level course, students from CUSTECH would be able to make do with some of the practical facilities of NKFI for hands on experiences.
The Vice Chancellor, Confluence University of Science and Technology, Prof. Salawu Sadiku thanked the visiting Rector and the management of NKFI stressing that both institutions play critical roles in producing man power in the area of technological education.
He mentioned that both institutions share areas of mutual benefits hence CUSTECH was ever willing in fostering symbiotic relationships with the institute where areas of academic synergy, practical learning and others would be favorably and beneficially explored.
The Vice Chancellor who recalled the role played by NKFI during CUSTECH’S accreditation opined that he was not a stranger to the challenges on ground but admonished the Institute’s management to work hard in ensuring that NKFI becomes a point of reference in technical and vocational learning.
