The Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, has endorsed the position of the Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria (TOAN), Kogi State Chapter, as the group staged a massive solidarity rally in Lokoja declaring support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s continuity beyond 2027.

Speaking during the event, TOAN State Chairman, Comrade Ahmed Sediq, said the gathering reflected the direct impact felt by transport workers under the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo.

The Chairman of TOAN in Kogi East, Comrade Abu H. Ibrahim, described anyone contesting against Governor Ododo as a threat to youth development, insisting that Kogi East riders would deliver overwhelming support to the governor.

Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, who is also a member of TOAN’s Board of Trustees, joined the rally and commended the union for what he called a courageous and strategic endorsement. He described Governor Ododo as a “chief servant of the state” and likened the current phase of governance to a surgical process, noting that while the nation may be passing through difficulties, the end result would be healing and long-term progress. He appreciated TOAN for standing firmly with the governor and the president despite security challenges, assuring them that their support would yield positive outcomes.

The rally drew commissioners, political appointees and several dignitaries who walked alongside TOAN members through major streets of Lokoja.

The event concluded on a symbolic note as Hon. Abdulraheem led participants in a unifying chorus of “On your mandate we shall stand,” which echoed through the crowd as riders pledged continued support for the administration.
