Ajibade Hails Supreme Court Ruling, Congratulates Governor Ododo

The Special Adviser on Climate Change to the Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Michael Onimisi Ajibade has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the people of the State on the Supreme Court’s verdict upholding the governor’s election victory.

In a statement released shortly after the ruling in Abuja, Ajibade described the outcome as a resounding affirmation of the people’s choice and a vindication of the truth affirmed by the tribunal and appeal courts.

Ajibade commended the Supreme Court justices for their firm stance on justice, saying that their judgment validates the judiciary’s commitment to upholding the will of the people.

According to him, the verdict is a clear indication that the popular choice of the good people of Kogi State is Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, who has been entrusted with the mandate to lead the state.

The Special Adviser also congratulated the people of Kogi State for the victory, stating that it belongs to progressive minds and those prioritising the greater good over sectional interests.

Speaking further, the Special Adviser, noted that the Supreme Court’s decision is a triumph for democracy and a further demonstration of the people’s faith in the electoral process.

Ajibade urged the people of Kogi State to continue to support the present administration as it places importance on executing and attracting more meaningful projects and policies that would have a direct bearing on the common man.

“The governor’s commitment to the welfare and development of the state is glaring. This Supreme Court’s verdict has reinforced his mandate to deliver on his campaign promises. And we are grateful to God that the protracted legal battles that were distractions have come to an end.”
