Andas felicitates with Muslim Ummah By Idowu Aliu »

The Chairman of Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Malik Andas has felicitated with Muslim Ummah in the State on the occasion of Eidel Kabir.

In the message of felicitation, Alhaji Malik said that the festival brings to rememberance the total submission and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim to God to sacrifice his son.

The Chairman on behalf of the Members and Staff of the Commission rejoiced with all Muslims and enjoined them not to loose track of the enssence of the festival which symbolises love, sacrifice and selflessness.

He maintained that if every Muslim would imbibe the above principles, the larger society would not only experience peace but also witness great improvement in terms of infrastructural development and economic growth.

Alhaji Malik also called on Muslims and non Muslims in the State to sustain the existing peace and harmonious relationship and always show kindness to one another.

While wishing all Muslims a happy celebration, he solicited the continuous support of the People for the Present Administration and sustained prayers for the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and Members of his Cabinet in their quest to take the State to greater heights.

He requested all and sundry to use this moment also to pray to Almighty Allah to crown the efforts of His Excellency in the human and socio_ economic development of the state with a grand success in the struggle for his attainment of the Presidential ticket of our great country.
