The delegation comprising of respected community leaders, youth representatives and women leaders arrived in Lokoja from Ankpa on the 5th of August, 2025 in three fully loaded buses.
Their visit carried a profound message of apology, reconciliation and reunion signaling a new chapter in the community’s political and social alignment.

The group led by Hon. Abdulwahab Danbala Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Rural and Urban Migration whose appointment into government was facilitated by Prof. Usman.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Danbala, flanked by traditional rulers and youth leaders, admitted that many members of the group had been misguided and misled into political opposition against Prof. Usman during the 2019 and 2023 election cycles.
He noted that some of those who once misled them had found their way into government, while Prof. Usman remained a consistent pillar of support for Angwa Ogebe.
“We have come not just to apologies but to make peace and reconnect with our leader who has paid his dues through tireless support for our people, empowering youths, driving development and opening doors,” Danbala stated.
He further emphasized the group’s new understanding of Prof. Usman’s loyalty and impact, declaring him the undisputed leader of Angwa Ogebe and pledging their full support going forward.
Also in attendance were HRH Yunisa Abubakar and HRH Ibrahim Idris Gango Ofabo who both expressed their blessings and support for the renewed unity.

“You have supported us without asking for anything in return. It is time we stand firmly with you. You have earned our trust and loyalty,” said Chairlady Ramatu.
During the visit, Barr. U.A. Adams, Legal Adviser and Head of the Legal Unit of the Association, delivered a heartfelt address, commending Prof. Usman’s selfless contributions to employment, education, and infrastructure especially the provision of clean water and classroom blocks in Angwa Ogebe.
He described Prof. Usman as a leader who uplifts others, inspires the youth and acts with integrity regardless of political tides.
In recognition of these contributions, the youth group unanimously appointed Prof. Usman as the Life Patron of the Angwa Ogebe Development Youth Association.
They also announced that an official investiture ceremony will be held in the coming days.
In honour of Prof. Usman’s loyalty and developmental strides, we hereby pledge our full support to His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for a second term in office.
The delegation also gave assurances that going forward, their support for Prof. Usman would be unshakable. They vowed to stand by him politically and otherwise, declaring that he remains the “leading light of Angwa Ogebe.”
Barr. Adams closed with a quote from Helen Keller; “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much,” capturing the spirit of renewed unity, loyalty, and community-building that now defines Angwa Ogebe’s future under the guidance of Prof. Usman.
