Ankpa LGA Chairman Lifts Suspension on Enjema District Head

The Executive Chairman of Ankpa Local Government Council, Hon. Ademu Muhammed Yahaya, has lifted the suspension of Usman Suraju, the District Head of Enjema. The reinstatement follows a comprehensive review of the circumstances that led to his initial suspension.
Usman Suraju was suspended due to security breaches, failure to report administrative changes, and alleged insubordination. However, following deliberations and an assessment of the situation, the council deemed it necessary to restore him to his position.
In a statement on Wednesday through his Chief Press Secretary, Idris Mohammed Omale, Hon. Ademu’s decision stresses the commitment of the local government to stability and continuity in traditional leadership. While reinstating the District Head, the Chairman emphasized the importance of upholding government policies, adhering to royal responsibilities, and ensuring effective governance within the district.
Furthermore, Hon. Ademu commended His Royal Highness, Mathew Ameh (Onu Enjema), and Senior Gago, Mallam Isah Salifu, for their leadership during the interim period. He urged Usman Suraju to operate within the bounds of his royal jurisdiction and align with government directives moving forward.
