APC LG Chairmen meets Kogi COS, says no room for opposition parties in state
The Kogi state Chief of Staff, Pharm. Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku on Tuesday played host to the 21 All Progressive Congress Local Government Party Chairmen, who assured that there was no room for any opposition party in the state.
The delegation which spoke through the forum Chairman, Mr. Omale ThankGod hailed the style of leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello in steering the affairs of the party and the state while he expressed on behalf of his colleagues that they were happy with his leadership.
The Forum Chairman noted that as the campaign and electioneering season was forthcoming, the All Progressives Congress still remains an unbeatable political party at all levels hence they were confident of a successful outing.
While thanking the Chief of Staff for the audience they received, he remarked that Pharm. Asuku’s antecedents in always carrying everyone along was well known.
In his response the Chief of Staff appreciated them for their kind words, the encomium poured on Governor Bello’s leadership and their recognition of his show of courage in his bid to become the President of the country.
He emphasized that Governor Bello’s decision was born out of his passion to provide quality leadership for our country stressing that he believes his boss, governor Bello was capable and eminently qualified for such feet.
The Chief of Staff assured his August visitors of the continued commitment of the Governor Bello led administration to do it’s best within the limited resources to cater for their welfare adding that they were critical stakeholders of the party and the administration.
