The Secretaries to the State Government of the All Progressive congress states across Nigeria has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his economic reforms and for providing good governance, leadership at such critical moment in Nigeria’s history reiterating that the Renewed Hope Agenda remains on course.

As part of their resolution, they agreed to work on the framework for State Police as a way of enhancing security across the States.

These were made known on Friday, while reading out the communiqué of their quarterly meeting which was hosted by Kogi state and held at the state government house in Lokoja between Thursday June 27 and Friday June 28.

Reading the communiqué on behalf of the secretaries to the state governments, Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade, the SGS, Kogi state said they recognised and commended the tireless efforts of Progressive Governors in driving economic development initiatives across the nation.

She added that their strategic policies and investments in various sectors were already yielding promising results, evidenced by the increasing growth and stability witnessed in the economy adding that as SGSs, they pledged their unwavering support to the Progressive Governors in their endeavors to create a prosperous and sustainable future for all citizens.

The SGS Kogi state said the meeting acknowledged the proactive stance of Progressive Governors in ensuring the security and wellbeing of all Nigerians alluding that their dedication to implementing robust security measures and social welfare programs has significantly enhanced the safety and quality of life for citizens across APC-Controlled states.

She added that citizens were encouraged to remain steadfast in their support for the leaders and to actively participate in building a brighter future for Nigeria. The SGS admonished citizens to persevere with hope and determination, trusting in the Renewed Hope Agenda to guide the nation towards greater heights of prosperity and unity.

“The Secretaries to the Government of APC states expressed admiration for the exemplary leadership demonstrated by Progressive Governors in governance and public service delivery, particularly in Youth Development programs and pledged their support to develop the State Bill on Students loan as a way of contributing to Youth Development and Education in the APC Controlled states” she said.

According to her, the secretaries agreed to continually share information, ideas and knowledge through their quarterly meetings and the Progressive Governor’s Forum adding that the secretariat would promote synergy across the member States and facilitate greater cooperation for sustainable development.

Extending the gratitude of the SGSs, the SGSs of Kastina, Abdullahi Garba Faskari noted that the meeting has further renewed their commitment to work in synergy as states and also support their respective governors towards achieving the overall goals of the APC government in the interest of the citizenry.
