APPRECIATION FOR A NEW BEGINNING
I give all glory to God Almighty, whose grace has made this journey possible. I am equally grateful to my family for their consistent encouragement, and to the leaders and supporters whose confidence in me brought about this victory as Vice Chairman, Kogi West, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).
I sincerely appreciate the people’s Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for providing the enabling environment for us to have a peaceful election on 19th July, 2025. My Leader, Hon. Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege, the Auditor General for Local Government, thank you for always being there for the youth of Kogi State. Posterity shall be kind to you.
My sincere appreciation also goes to Hon. Monday Aridaojo, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, a practical and grace-driven leader whose influence has been truly impactful. I also thank Hon. Charity Ijese Omole, the Special Assistant on Youth and Women Mobilization to the Governor, for her commitment to developing others; as her dedication remains a shining example for others to follow.
Hon. Ibrahim Haruna, Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, your strength and guidance continue to inspire; you remain a firm and sweet presence in our political landscape. I deeply value the support of Hon. Abdullahi Adamu, Chairman of Lokoja LGA, a man known for his results-driven approach and love for growth. Hon. Victor Ade Omofaiye, Director General of the Kogi State Commodity Exchange, Export Promotion and Market Development Agency, your calm achievements speak volumes. Hon. Sunday Ezekiel Osiako deserves recognition for his relentless energy and effectiveness.
I acknowledge Hon. Femi Esemikose, Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters to the Governor, a man of uncommon value and strategy. Hon. Osaseyi Richard, Director General of the Kogi State Signage and Advertisement Agency, has proven himself over time as a dependable leader, worthy of honor. My gratitude also goes to Hon. Kelvin Eleta, SSA on Fraud and Internet Matters to the Governor, a sincere change-maker committed to progress. Hon. Prime Abubakar, SSA on Grassroots Mobilization to the Governor, has demonstrated youthful dynamism wrapped in divine guidance. I also express my sincere appreciation to my leader and friend, Hon. Rufai, your contributions cannot be overlooked.
To my dear in-laws and the respected delegates from the Eastern part of Kogi State, I am thankful for your strong presence. The delegates from Kogi Central have equally been a solid support, and I deeply value the trust you placed in me. To the delegates from Kogi West, thank you for going the extra mile for your own. Your role in this success cannot be overstated. My genuine friends who stood by me through the process, I am grateful for your belief in my vision.
I remain resolute to making the youth of Kogi State proud by providing quality representation at all times.
Let us walk this path together, with renewed strength, unity, and purpose. The journey has just begun, and the goal is to serve the youth of Kogi West and Kogi State in general, with commitment and clarity.
