It was an atmosphere of excitement and praises to God for his mercies in the life of Mr. Samson Akoji David, when he visited the Deputy governor of Kogi state, Chief Dr. Edward Onoja at his residence in Lokoja to appreciate the assistance to his family when his wife gave birth to a set of triplets few months ago.
Father of the triplets who is a native of Anyigba and his wife from Egume in Dekina LGA, visited with the triplets and some members of his family, appreciated the deputy governor and his wife, Mrs. Ejura Onoja for their support to him in his time of need.
Akoji, who was at the time a serving NYSC member was faced with financial difficulties and unable to offset the hospital bill for his wife who went through a cesarean section to deliver the triplets at federal medical center in Lokoja. “This is our first time of meeting with you, you didn’t know us from anywhere, yet you first sent your wife to come and see us, and you assisted us in paying the bills for my wife’s operation and the babies bill, including other gift items. Your Excellency, you are indeed a blessing to us and our pride in Kogi state and Nigeria”.
“Your impact in my life and those of many others are indelible and we cannot appreciate you enough. To remember you forever, we have named the first boy Edward, while the other two are Dignity and Truth. He said.
Reacting, Chief Edward Onoja congratulated the family on the birth of the children. He praised God for His benevolence and mercy, adding that it was God who placed him at the position to help. He said although he didn’t know them before, but immediately he received the news, he saw it as a call that must be answered.
