Funsho Ekundayo Olumoko, have praised the leadership style and governance approach of Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, while expressing support for the re-election of Salman Idris, who represents Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The endorsement followed separate consultative visits by members of the Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) to the Governor from Ijumu Local Government Area under the Tiwantiwa project. The delegation met Chief Aro and Hon. Olumoko at their private offices in Asokoro and Wuye, Abuja, respectively. Speaking on behalf of the forum, the Team Lead, Chief Shuiab Ipinmisho, highlighted what he described as the impactful legislative record of Idris, urging stakeholders and constituents to prioritise his return to the National Assembly. He also commended Governor Ododo for achievements recorded across sectors in the state, describing his administration as inclusive and strategically aligned with federal lawmakers from Kogi State.
In his remarks, Hon. Olumoko characterised Governor Ododo as a deliberate and people-oriented leader who listens attentively and places public welfare at the centre of governance. According to him, the Governor’s leadership style reflects discipline, patience, and a strong commitment to service, offering lessons for public office holders at all levels.
Olumoko assured the delegation of his support for Idris’ second-term ambition, aligning with what he termed the continuity agenda and the broader progressive direction of the current administration in Kogi State.

Discussions centred on consolidating support for Governor Ododo’s anticipated second-term bid and mobilising backing for Idris’ re-election.
