Asuku @38: GYB2PYB Group distribute food to beggars in Lokoja, Okene, Abuja

As part of activities to mark the birthday anniversary of Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku, the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, a group known simply as GYB2PYB on Sunday, distributed food to the less-privileged.

According to the Kogi State Coordinator of the group, Comrade Umar Usman who spoke on behalf of the Director General, Ambassador Oladele John Nihi, the outreach which took place concurrently in Lokoja, Okene and the FCT was their way of celebrating with the Chief of Staff whom he described as a mentor, a bridge builder and a positive rallying point for young people in the state.

He said Pharmacist Asuku is a young man who derives joy in putting smile on people’s faces, saying that instead of gathering people in his class to throw a lavish party, the group decided to engage in an activity that the chief favors, which is reaching out to the needy.

The group also organized a special prayer for the safe return of the mother of the Chief of Staff from her abductors.
The prayer was heald in the Igala community mosque in Lokoja, where the Imam led the special prayers.
