Asukulated Unity Cup to hold in Ajaokuta »

Asukulated Unity Cup is an Initiative established by Hon Chief Pharmacist Asuku Abdulkareem to bring peace and Unity among the Youths in Kogi State and beyound.

As we all know, sport is a compelling tool to promote peace, tolerance and understanding, bringing people together across boundaries, cultures and religion. It value such as team work, fairness , discipline and respect and understood all over the world and can be utilized in the advancement of solidarity and social cohesion.

Sport is mainly used as a career, for leisure and entertainment, for business or for gain among other purpose, and also sport is a tools that enhance peace in a society.

While many people create peace through diplomacy, making use of force and war, little effort is directed towards sports in search for peace. However, sport can be a unifying factor in the peacemaking process, Sport have been long idealized as a way to wounds, mend fence, and rise above difference among culture and nations from the Olympics to World Cup, not only do sports transcend politics, but they also pave way for peace.
