Ayede Youths Endorse Olorunpomi David for Assembly, Donate Campaign Materials Ahead of 2027

Youths in Ayede have declared their support for the 2027 aspiration of Olorunpomi David Ifemidayo to represent Kabba/Bunu in the State House of Assembly, describing him as a credible and capable contender for the position.

The endorsement followed a youth stakeholders’ meeting held in Ayede, which brought together community influencers, youth leaders, students and grassroots mobilisers to deliberate on the political future of Kabba/Bunu. At the end of the deliberations, participants unanimously passed a vote of confidence in Ifemidayo, citing his perceived competence and connection with the people.

During the meeting, speakers pointed to his grassroots engagement and accessibility, noting that he has maintained consistent interaction with various communities. They also highlighted the importance of integrity and accountable leadership, stressing the need for transparent representation at the State Assembly.

Participants further referenced his vision for inclusiveness across wards and communities within Kabba/Bunu, as well as his understanding of legislative responsibilities and readiness to effectively represent the constituency if elected.

In a show of support, the youths donated branded campaign caps to aid ongoing mobilisation efforts. They described the gesture as a symbol of solidarity and commitment to the political project.

The meeting concluded with a pledge by the youths to intensify mobilisation efforts across polling units and wards, while encouraging other communities within Kabba/Bunu to support the aspiration ahead of the 2027 elections.
