Back To School Initiative: Maya Care Foundation collaborates with Echoes Africa Initiatives to Sensitize Students on HIV/AIDS, Distribute School Materials to Students in Kogi »

As part of this year’s back to school initiative Program of Maya Care foundation, the foundation sensitize the students on HIV/Aid, distributed thousands of school bag, school sandals, written materials and payment of school fees to some students at GYB Model Secondary School, Adankolo and Army Day Secondary School, Lokoja, Kogi State.

Maya care foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-partisan organization registered with the corporate affairs commission (CAC) to address social, environmental, education and economic challenges bedeviling the well-being of humanity with a special attention on rural areas.

CEO/Founder Maya Care Foundation Haj. Sefiya Abdulmumin in her address appreciate the Schools for hosting them respectively, she emphasized that this year is another ample opportunity to serve humanity through the distribution of School materials to categories of students and Sensitization on HIV/Aid

She further emphasized that they’re in this mission to raise the standard of students especially the less privileged and orphans because they believe education is the key to success and service to humanity is her watchword.

Mr. Moses, the Principal, Army day secondary School Lokoja and Mr. Yahaya Abdullahi, Vice Principal, GYB Model Science Secondary School in their separate remarks appreciate the CEO/Founder Maya Care Haj. Sefiya and her team for the distribution of School materials, Sensitization on HIV/Aid, and payment of School fees to some of their Students.

They emphasized that the coming of this foundation to their Schools is timely because of the economic conditions of some of the students because some of them do not have a usable School sandals and school bags but, the foundation has come to boost their morals to focus more on their studies.

The Principal described Haj. Sefiya as humble, kind-hearted, and a humanitarian ambassador for identifying with their schools in the cause of her services to humanity.

They pray that Almighty Allah will continue to sustain her, guide her, protect and provide for her.
