Birthday: NKFI Rector celebrates Edward Onoja, describes him as an inspiration to many
The Rector, Nigeria-Korea friendship institute, Williams Charles Oluwatoyin has celebrated Kogi state Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja on the occasion of his 49th birthday anniversary, describing him as an inspiration to many, particularly the younger generation.
The Rector’s felicitation on behalf of the institute’s Governing council, management, staff and students was contained in a press statement signed on Wednesday where he added that the Deputy governor remained an astute administrator who always has displayed strong inclination towards the growth and development of Kogi state.
He said ‘’Your Excellency sir, your imprint as a vocal leader in the annals of the history of Kogi state is indelible. You have shown greatly that you are a man of conviction, loyal and dedicated to any cause you set your mind. You have truly inspired many of us and your effect has trickled down to the next generation of leaders, many of whom have learnt a great deal of lessons from your leadership acumen, your doggedness and staunch faith in God’’
He added that the Deputy governor stands out as a prominent grass root politician, a political strategist and in fact a man of many parts, talents and gifts adding that Chief. Edward’s humanitarian gesture and intentional concealment of same have clearly shown his kind heart.
The Rector said he joined many of the Deputy governor’s family, friends, associates and well wishers to celebrate an illustrious son of Kogi state, a leader of great repute, a loyal and dedicated follower of the New Direction Government and mentor to many, on such a milestone age while he prayed for God to grant the celebrant long life in good health to enable him continue on the path of honour and greater impact.
