Birthday: NKFI Rector celebrates Wemi Jones, hails contribution to state’s education sector

The Rector Nigeria-Korea Institute, Mr. Charlse Williams Oluwatoyin has celebrated the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology Hon. Wemi Jones on the occasion of his birthday while he described him as a gentle man whose administrative prowess is beyond doubt.

The Rector’s felicitation message was contained in a Press statement signed on Monday where he hailed the commissioner for his indelible inputs in the education sector of Kogi state under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello alluding that the celebrant is hardworking, dogged and result oriented.

He noted that the commissioner in his stay in office overseeing the Ministry of Education, science and Technology, the sector has recorded numerous giant strides both in policies, programmes and infrastructural growth adding that he has proven his mettle as an astute administrator and his record would be difficult to measure up to in the nearest future.

The Rector said that the Commissioner is also a great politician and a grass root mobiliser who is regularly in touch with his people and has truly represented what Governor Bello Administration stands for in areas of youth and women empowerment and keeping close ties with those in every locality. He added that his heart of kindness and good gesture was highly commendable.

The Rector said “on behalf of myself, family, the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff and students of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute of Vocational and Advanced Technology, i felicitate with the very dedicated, dogged and result oriented Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology as he clocks another year today”

While wishing the Commissioner many more years in greater fulfillment, peace and good health he urged him not to relent on doing good as posterity would be the judge.
