Birthday: PAAYEF organises special prayer for safe return of Pharm. Asuku’s mother
The Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku Youth Empowerment Foundation (PAAYEF), on Sunday organised prayer section to mark the birthday anniversary of its founder and current Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Muhammad Jamiu Asuku.
Members of the Foundation along with friends and well wishers converged in Anyigba, Dekina Local Government Area at the residence of the Council Chairman, Prince Ishaq Okolo to offer prayers for the safe return of the mother of the Chief of Staff who was abducted recently.
The prayer which was led by notable Islamic scholars in the area had in attendance PAAYEF Focal Person, Hon. Sandra Mimi, Dekina Local Government Chairman, Hon. Ishaq Shuaibu Okolo and other notable individuals.
Speaking, the Focal Person of PAAYEF, Hon. Sandra Mimi said they organized the prayer to seek more grace of God for their principal so as to receive more grace to perform his duties. She said the ultimate reason for the prayer was to seek the face of God in granting freedom to the mother of the Chief of Staff, adding that it was the best of birthday gifts that they wished to offer.
“Today, our principal, our leader and our friend, the Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello is marking his birthday.
“We are here this morning to offer prayers and recite the holy Quran for him to ask for God protection over him and his family and seek for God’s quick intervention in the abduction of his mother by granting her freedom from her captors without harm.
“Pharmacist Asuku is a God fearing man who is passionate about the welfare of the people, not only those around him but, people in general.
“His mother is also a good and compassionate woman, an advocate of welfarism. Therefore we beseech the creator to look at their good sides and grant mama freedom.”
Scores of Imams offered prayers for the celebrant, Pharmacist Asuku and equally for Governor Yahaya Bello.
