The Chief of Staff to Kogi State governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Mohammed Jamiu has described Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja as a true and dedicated servant-leader, who has stayed committed to the New Direction Government Agenda under the leadership of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

He made this known on Wednesday in a congratulatory message conveyed to celebrate the 49th birthday anniversary of the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja.

The Chief of Staff emphasised that the state has been blessed tremendously to have the service of the Deputy Governor, noting that his approach to leadership and his interest in raising and mentoring younger ones have ignited many young Kogi citizen into frontline politics and inspired them into active community development roles.

While he also pointed out that Chief Edward ‘s staunch faith in God and his continued support of the welfare and wellbeing of the less privileged in the society remains a remarkable gesture which has proven that his good heart goes beyond politics and politicking.

He asserted that the Deputy governor was also a strong stakeholder of good governance and a remarkable grass root politician who has always delivered in his home front.

The Chief of Staff offered prayers for the deputy governor, that the years ahead would bring him even greater accomplishments and opportunities, while he also hoped that his dedication and commitment will continue to inspire the next generation.
