Bobaseye of Oro-Ago Kingdom, Chief Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi Condemns Rising Attacks, Kidnappings, Calls for Immediate Action

Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi Bobaseye, the revered Chief of Oro-Ago Kingdom, has issued a resounding condemnation of the recent wave of savage attacks and kidnappings terrorizing the peaceful communities of Oro-Ago in Kwara State.

In a statement personally signed and made available to the public through Omoluabi Media Network, Chief Omoluabi branded the assaults as “heinous, cowardly, and a brazen violation of the sanctity of human life.” He expressed profound grief over the senseless loss of innocent lives and decried the catastrophic humanitarian fallout families torn apart, homes reduced to ruins, and livelihoods shattered in the wake of the violence.

“The continuous targeting of defenseless rural communities is an abomination that cannot be tolerated,” he declared. “No grievance, no ideology, no motive justifies the abduction, fear and suffering inflicted upon our people.”

With deep empathy, Chief Omoluabi extended his solemn condolences to His Royal Majesty, Oba Johnson Dada, the Oloro of Oro-Ago, the revered traditional council, and the traumatized citizens of the kingdom. He lauded the unbroken spirit of the Oro-Ago people, urging them to stand firm in their faith that justice and security will prevail.

Saluting the Valor of Security Forces
Chief Omoluabi hailed the security agencies for their “unflinching bravery, relentless operations, and supreme sacrifices” in the line of duty. “Their gallant defense has turned the tide, isolating these atrocities and preventing wider chaos,” he acknowledged. Yet, he demanded swifter, sharper, and more decisive action calling for reinforced intelligence, tactical superiority, and ruthless precision to crush the criminal networks behind these atrocities.

“We cannot rest until every last terrorist, kidnapper, and enemy of peace is hunted down and eradicated from Oro-Ago Kingdom,” he vowed.

Chief Omoluabi urged the Kwara State Government and stakeholders to sustain and escalate their commitment to this existential battle. “Proactive measures, fortified security infrastructure, and unyielding political will are non-negotiable,” he asserted. He pressed for urgent investments in community-based intelligence, rapid-response systems, and long-term strategies to annihilate the roots of insecurity.

“The blood of the innocent cries out for justice. We will not relent until Oro-Ago is reclaimed as a bastion of peace, safety, and prosperity.”
