CAAM-G celebrates as its chair become SA Media to Lokoja LGT Chairman

Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Mandate Group (CAAM-G) has congratulated its chairman, Hon Iliyasu Zakari who has been appointed as the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Lokoja Local Government Transition Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu.

In a statement signed by the body’s Director of Media and Publicity, Yabagi Mohammed, CAAM-G expressed joy and said the appointment was deserving.

The statement noted that as a group, CAAM-G has worked round the clock and contributed immensely to the positive visibility for the transition chairman, and promised not to rest but that it would redouble its efforts towards ensuring the success of the new man in charge of Lokoja Local Government Area.

It further promised not to leave the appointee alone, noting that the entire membership of the body would work closely with Hon Zakari to ensure he succeeded.

In the same vein, CAAM-G has also promised to work closely with the LG Chairman to ensure his success in office, even as it noted its confidence in the ability of Comrade Abdullahi Adamu to bring about meaningful development to Lokoja Local Government.

It therefore thanked the outgoing Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his demonstration of love for the state and passion for talent discovery that has translated into the socioeconomic development of the state under his leadership.

The statement equally expressed confidence in the ability of the incoming Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to continue in the trajectory of Governor Bello and build on the present legacy.

“This is also expressing the group’s gratitude to Lokoja Local Government stakeholders for their commitment towards the enthronement of the right people in the leadership of the council. We are grateful and hereby express our total loyalty and commitment to the progress of our communities in the LGA,” the statement noted in closing.
