The Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Mandate Group (CAAM-G), has, in continuation of its consultations with party leaders and stakeholders, paid a visit on the chairman of the APC in Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon Maikudi Bature, the former Director of Lokoja Local Government (DLG), Engr Yahaya Danladi Farouk and a former chairmanship aspirant, Alhaji Abubakar Ndarani at their individual residents.
The visitations took place on Wednesday in Lokoja.
In each of the visits, the chairman of CAAM-G, Comrade Iliyasu Zakari informed the hosts that the body, an independent initiative, is out to advocate why Comrade Abdullahi Adamu should be considered for the next Lokoja Local Government Chairmanship position.
He described Comrade Abdul as a dedicated party man, who put passion and commitment to whatever he is convinced on, and appealed for their support to ensure the group realised its objective.
He further expressed the commitment of the body to ensure they comb all units and wards of the Local Government to ensure landslide victory for the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Ododo Usman in the November 11 election, stressing that the group understands that the polls would be a yardstick for choosing the next boss for Lokoja LGA.
Other members of the group also restated their commitment to the party, adding that they have begun mobilization and sensitization for Ododo and his running mate, Joel Oyibo. They appealed that Comrade Abdul be considered as the next man to pilot the affairs of the LGA.
In their separate responses, the group’s hosts all commended the body for their advocacy and assured them that they have a suitably qualified material to market.
They however advised CAAM-G members to continue with their consultations, even as they also tasked them on the need to commit to the cause at hand, which is the gubernatorial election in November.
CAAM-G is an independent campaign team whose membership cuts across the ten Wards of Lokoja Local Government.
