CAAM-G Felicitate with Kogi Assembly Speaker, Aguye, others over Chieftaincy titles »

The Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Mandate Group, CAAM-G, has congratulated the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf and the member of the House of Representatives for Lokoja/Kogi (Kotonkarfe) Federal Constituency, Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye, on the conferment the Chieftaincy titles as the Taurarin-Zamani and Haske of Gegu-Beki Kingdom respectively by the Ohinoyi-Nyiwo of Gegu-Beki, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Muhammad Abba Alhassan.

This was contained in a statement released by the group’s Chairman, Comrade Iliyasu Zakari shortly after the event in Gegu-Beki, Kogi Local Government Area.

The group applauded the Traditional Council, the people of Gegu-Beki and the Chairman of the Occasion, Hon. (Engr.) Abubakar Bashir Gegu, the Sardauna Gamji of Gegu-Beki for the colorful and historic event.

The group noted that the recognition by different Traditional Councils in the last few months shows their closeness to the traditional institutions and acceptance in the grassroots.

Other personalities turbaned includes the Member representing Kogi/Koton Karfe in the State Assembly, Hon. Idris Maikudi (Dan Amana of Gegu-Beki Kingdom), Alh. Haruna Ganaja (Dan Maiyaki of Gegu-Beki Kingdom) among others.

According to the statement, both Rt. Hon Umar and Hon. Aguye have distinguished themselves in the service of humanity and community and are therefore worthy role models in any community.

CAAM-G thanked the Gegu-Beki Kingdom for honoring the respected lawmakers and urged the recipients to sustain the humble, peaceful disposition and developmental strides which they are known for across the State.
