CAAM-G Felicitate with Kogi Assembly Speaker, Aguye over chieftaincy titles »

The Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Mandate Group, CAAM-G, has congratulated the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aliyi Umar Yusuf and the member of the House of Representatives for Lokoja/Kogi (Kotonkarfe) Federal Constituency, Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye, on the conferment the Chieftaincy titles as the Maadaki and the Maaji of Agbaja Kingdom respectively by the Maasi of Agbaja, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Isah Alugbere.

This was contained in a statement released by the group’s Chairman, Comrade Iliyasu Zakari shortly after the event in Agbaja on Friday.

The group noted that the recognition by the Area’s Traditional Council did not come as a surprise considering the duo’s humility, dedication, inclusive politics and contributions to the development of the area and the State in general.

According to the statement, both Rt. Hon Aliyu and Hon. Aguye have distinguished themselves in service of humanity and community, hence the large turnout of dignitaries who graced the occasion from within and outside Kogi State for the turbanning, despite the difficulty of the Agbaja terrain.

CAAM-G thanked the Agbaja Kingdom for honoring the respected lawmakers and urged others to put community development first before anything, to sustain the developmental efforts by the new titled chiefs.
