CAC Staff Celebrate Groundbreaking Welfare and Operational Reforms
The management of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has achieved remarkable milestones in staff welfare and operational reforms during the past year.
In a series of initiatives aimed at improving staff satisfaction and productivity, the Commission settled promotion arrears for 2021 and 2022, addressed all outstanding claims, and resolved exit benefits for employees.
Flexible, zero-interest loans were introduced for staff, while pending disciplinary cases were resolved, giving affected employees a fresh start. Labor disputes were amicably settled, industrial harmony restored, and salary disparities between state and headquarters staff were eliminated.
The management also introduced a two-day work-from-home policy and waived interest on staff loans to cushion the effects of economic reforms. A bi-annual food welfare program and Excellence Awards, recognizing 59 outstanding staff, were also introduced for the first time.
In a bid to enhance capacity and improve service delivery, over 500 employees, including drivers, were trained locally, while many others benefitted from international training opportunities, some sponsored by the Chinese government. Operational efficiency was further strengthened with the procurement of new vehicles.
The Commission also institutionalized cultural diversity celebrations, with staff participating in traditional dressing days, and introduced workout and sensitization programs to promote its activities.
These reforms reflect the CAC’s commitment to creating a supportive and progressive work environment while maintaining its operational excellence.
And in appreciation, the staff today beisged the Registrar General ‘s office, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji humming the songs of appreciation.
