Celebrating 33 Years of Kogi State: Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin (RTD) CFR Calls for Unity, Progress

Today, we mark a significant milestone in the history of Kogi State, as we celebrates 33 years of its creation. This momentous occasion affords us the opportunity to reflect on the journey thus far while acknowledging the triumphs and tribulations that have shaped our beloved State.

On this auspicious occasion, I wish to extend my warmest congratulations to the good people of Kogi State. Your resilience, determination, and unwavering commitments to the progress of our dear State have been the driving force behind its growth and development.

As we celebrate this milestone, I call on all Kogites to embrace unity across tribes and religions. Let us put aside our differences and work together towards a common goal of building a prosperous and peaceful State.

To our past and present leaders, I commend your efforts in shaping the state’s trajectory. Your contributions, though varied, have been instrumental in laying the foundation for the Kogi State we know today.

I also urge our Security Agencies to be proactive in protecting lives and properties of our citizens. Let us work together to create a safer and secure environment for all Kogites.

Furthermore, I call on our lawmakers and State functionaries to put aside personal interests and work towards the growth and development of our state. Let us prioritize the welfare of our people and strive for excellence in all we do for our teaming population to be proud of. Kogi State is highly endowed with adequate natural resources to achieve its potentials.

As we celebrate this milestone, let us look forward to a brighter future, filled with promise and opportunity. May the next Chapter in our State’s history be marked by unprecedented growth, peace, and prosperity.

Once again, congratulations to the good people of Kogi State on this momentous occasion.
