Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi Commends Hon. Zacchaeus Dare’s Excellent Leadership, Grassroots Impact Across Kabba-Bunu LGA
The Convener of Babayemi Vanguard Support Group, Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi, has extended his warm commendation to the Executive Chairman of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, Hon. Zacchaeus Michael Dare, for his excellent performance and remarkable administrative strides across various sectors in the local government area.
Chief Olorunfemi, a renowned supporter of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration, described Hon. Dare as a man with an exceptional ability to achieve results even under challenging circumstances. According to him, the local government boss has continued to make lemonade even without the provision of any lemons, proving his skill, creativity, and dedication to community growth.
He emphasized that Hon. Dare’s leadership has set a new pace for grassroots development through strategic investments in health, infrastructure, and security. The construction of a well-equipped Security Base opposite Kogi State University, Kabba, is one of his key initiatives aimed at enhancing the safety of lives and property within the area.
Chief Olorunfemi further highlighted the completion of eight primary healthcare centers across different communities within Kabba-Bunu, describing the project as a major achievement that has brought quality medical services closer to the people. He added that this initiative has significantly improved maternal and child healthcare delivery in the local government.
In the area of infrastructure, Hon. Dare has embarked on the grading and rehabilitation of several community link roads, such as the Odolu Market Road and the GRA roads, amongst others. These efforts, according to Chief Olorunfemi, have opened up rural communities, improved mobility, and boosted local trade and economic activities.
Another outstanding project under Hon. Dare’s administration is the Ilah Bunu Ultramodern Maternity Health Center, which would become a model healthcare facility serving residents within and beyond the community, upon completion. The project, he noted, demonstrates the Chairman’s strong commitment to improving healthcare access for women and children.
Chief Olorunfemi also eulogized Hon. Dare’s consistent prioritization of security, describing it as a reflection of his foresight and leadership discipline. He stated that ensuring the safety of citizens is the foundation of sustainable development, and the Chairman’s approach has made Kabba-Bunu one of the most peaceful areas in the region.
He expressed appreciation to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for appointing individuals of integrity and administrative competence like Hon. Dare into leadership positions. While passing a vote of confidence on all local government chairmen from Kogi West, Chief Olorunfemi also lauded the residents for their cooperation with leaders to ensure that the dividends of democracy continue to reach every community.
