Chief Edward David Onoja Congratulates Professor Joash Amupitan on His Appointment as INEC Chairman »

The Immediate Past Deputy Governor of Kogi State and Member of the South East Development Commission (SEDC) Board representing the North Central, Chief Edward David Onoja, has extended warm congratulations to Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN) on his appointment as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In a statement through his media aide, Chief Onoja described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Professor Amupitan’s integrity, intellect, and depth of experience in law and governance will bring renewed credibility and confidence to Nigeria’s electoral system.

He further expressed pride in the fact that the new INEC Chairman hails from Kogi State, saying it is yet another testament to the state’s growing contributions to national leadership.
