Chief Edward Onoja Celebrates Easter with Christians Nationwide

The Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja on Friday sent his Easter greetings to all Christian faithfuls. He urged them to renew hope by reflecting on the love of God shown to mankind through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Chief Onoja also noted that in God’s agenda, there is nothing so dead that it cannot be revived by the power of God Almighty. Therefore he urged all Christians and indeed all Nigerians not to relent in praying for improved prosperity and security in Nigeria.

The deputy governor appreciated the love, solidarity and peace with which Kogi State indigenes have continued to live together and called for prayers for Governor Yahaya Bello who is running for president in the 2023 General Elections, describing it as a rescue project.

Chief Onoja, whose Easter message was made available to the media by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel, appealed to all Nigerians to emulate Christ by accepting one another in our great diversity and sharing love irrespective of religion or denomination.

He also assured Kogi people that the government is committed to continue providing a prosperous and peaceful environment for all.
