Chief Onoja attends burial of late Deaconess Salome Okoh in Olamaboro

…Pays Condolence Visit to Abogede’s Family over Loss of Sister

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief (Dr) Edward Onoja, on Saturday, attended the funeral of Late Deaconess Salome Okoh held at her home residence of Inabe Inwele in Olamaboro LGA of the State.

Also present to pay their last respects to the Late mother of Engr Sunday Okoh were the Chairman, Olamaboro LGA, Hon Friday Adejoh; State Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon Sunday Faleke; KSHA member representing Olamaboro Constituency, Hon Anthony Ujah, amongst others.

In his oration, Chief Onoja recalled with fond childhood memories, the exemplary lifestyle of the Late Deaconess Salome in Okegbi-Ate, Ogugu whom he said until her death at the age of 73, served God, her family, the church, and the community passionately.

Chief Onoja admonished the gathering to always live with eternity in mind by impacting the lives of humanity and encouraged them to always be in the mood of prayer and worship for the gift of Life, health, and for God’s ultimate Kingship over the affairs of men.

He quoted Romans 8:28 thusly: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” and

He finally prayed God grants the Late Salome Okoh eternal rest, and her family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Chief Onoja also paid a condolence visit to one of his personal aides, Hon Ceton Abogede over the loss of his elder sister, Late Ojonimi Joy Abogede who was buried earlier in Ogugu, Olamaboro LGA. He commiserated with the Abogede Family, praying God comforts them and grants the deceased eternal rest.
