Chief Onoja condoles Kogi House of Assembly Speaker over wife’s death
Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief (Dr.) Edward Onoja is saddened by the passing of Pastor (Mrs) Esther Kolawole, wife of the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole.
In a statement issued to newsmen by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel, Chief Onoja states that the Late Pastor (Mrs) Esther Kolawole was a prayer pillar and zealous follower of Christ, adding that her demise is a colossal loss to Kogi State.
He describes the deceased as an advocate of peace who added immense value to her husband’s administration and continued to play a motherly role to the State until her demise, noting that her unfettered leadership attributes, compassionate lifestyle, and unflinching dedication to God and humanity would be greatly missed.
Chief Onoja commiserates with the Kolawole Family, the people of Kabba-Bunu Constituency, the KSHA, other bereaved relations, and friends of the deceased over the unfortunate incident, and prays God to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest, whilst granting those she left behind, the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Until her passing at a Lagos Hospital on Sunday, December 5, 2021, the Late Pastor (Mrs) Esther Kolawole was aged 50 years.
