Chief Onoja Hails Blood Commission DG at 59 »

Deputy Governor of Kogi, Chief Edward Onoja has felicitated with the Director General of the National Blood Service Commission on the occasion of his 59th birthday.

Chief Onoja, in a press statement, made available to newsmen described Dr Amedu as a thoroughbred administrator, thinker and irrepressible reformer who has left sparkling traces of excellence in all the places he has chaperoned as chief executive-describing how he led the first policy implementation of the national emergence health response in Nigeria, the revitalization of federal government hospitals in Nigeria as well as the recent revolution of regulating blood services in Nigeria.

‘We are inspired by your overall contributions to the development of Nigeria, your traces as a patriot, reformer and thinker are emulating strides and templates for good governance. ‘

Chief Onoja used the occasion to pray for sound health and more opportunities for the man he described as an astute administrator, goal-getter and inimitable philanthropist.
