Chief Onoja Unveils Grace Clan Empowerment Initiative

  • Sues for Love, Sacrifice, Service to Humanity

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief (Dr) Edward Onoja has encouraged Christians to lead exemplary lives of love and sacrificial giving which depict the teachings of Jesus Christ, the founder and leader of the Christian faith.

He was speaking on the topic, “Giving is Living “ during the official unveiling of the Grace Clan Empowerment Initiative held at the State Government House Chapel in Lokoja.

Chief Onoja who acknowledged that he is a product of God’s providence and grace over the years, noted that Christians are God’s mirrors on earth and thus must be reflective of His virtues through which the society would give Glory to God.

He explained that giving may not necessarily be in monetary forms as erroneously viewed, but may come through availing one’s time, talents, and other resources to the collective vision of the Grace Clan in the service to humanity.

He maintained that Love and sacrifice remain inseparable factors for leading worthy Christian lives, saying the most practical way to win souls for Christ is by showing Love as God Himself rewards such efforts in His appointed time.

He commended the Team Lead of the Grace Clan, Benjamin Atomode (Lord Bishop) for the Initiative, upholding his efforts to invest in young men and women through mentorship and capacity building, which he noted, would further prepare them to make impacts in various aspects of human life.
