“Christmas, A Time for Giving, Reflection”, Hon. Monday Anyebe

The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Monday Aridaojo Anyebe, has extended warm Christmas greetings to the people of Kogi State, urging them to embrace the spirit of love, unity, and hope that the season embodies.

In a goodwill message issued today, Honourable Anyebe stressed the significance of Christmas as a time for reflection, giving, and the celebration of Christ’s birth. He called on the people of Kogi State to use the occasion to strengthen the bonds of peace and coexistence within their communities.

“This season reminds us of the virtues of sacrifice, love, and selflessness as demonstrated by Jesus Christ. I encourage everyone to show compassion to the less privileged and foster unity as we collectively work towards the development of our dear state,” Anyebe said.

The Commissioner also commended the youth of Kogi State for their resilience and contributions to the state’s development, particularly in the areas of sports and entrepreneurship. He assured them of the government’s continued commitment to empowering young people and creating opportunities for their growth and success.

In his message, Honourable Anyebe called for prayers for the leadership of Kogi State under Governor Usman Ododo, emphasizing the need for divine guidance as the administration continues to implement policies aimed at improving the lives of citizens.

He concluded by wishing all Kogites a joyous and peaceful Christmas celebration, while urging them to celebrate responsibly and adhere to safety measures during the festivities.
