Christmas: Comrade Onu Edoka Greets Govt, Citizens, Advocates Peace, Unity

The Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Labour matters, Comrade Onu Edoka, has extended warm Christmas greetings to the Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Oyibo Salifu, Christians, political appointees, and the entire good people of Kogi State.

Comrade Edoka in his Christmas message, described Christmas as a season that renews the values of love, peace, sacrifice, humility, and understanding, urging citizens to embody compassion and forgiveness, be their brother’s keeper, and promote harmony across communities regardless of faith or background.

He commended the Governor’s leadership qualities, particularly his commitment to workers welfare, Education, Health and security and called for continued prayers, unfeigned support, and collaborative effort from political appointees and public servants to consolidate the gains in security, human capital development, and infrastructure across the state.

The Special Adviser encouraged residents to celebrate responsibly, support the vulnerable through acts of charity, and adhere to safety and security advisories, noting that unity, discipline, and shared responsibility will help sustain progress in the months ahead.

Comrade Edoka also wished the people of Ankpa, Olamaboro Omala Federal Constituency, the Attah Igala and traditional institution, civil servants, security agencies, and all Kogi citizens at home and in the diaspora a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, praying for wisdom, good health, and lasting peace in Kogi State.

The Special Adviser appealed to the people to sustain their support for the present administration in order to attain the anticipated dream of the founding fathers of Kogi State.
