Committee Shake Up: Group Congratulates Senator Isah Jibrin On Committee Appointment

The Kogi East Youth Advocacy Forum For True Democracy, has extended warm congratulations to Senator Isah Jibrin on his appointment as Senate Vice Chairman, Committee on North Central Development Commission (NCDC).
The Forum also expressed heartfelt appreciation to the President of the Senate, Distinguished Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, for recognizing the capabilities of Senator Echocho and entrusting him with such a significant role in national development.
The forum noted that the appointment of an Igala-born Senator, whom many regard as the best Senator Kogi East has had since the return of democracy in 1999, is a clear indication that hard work, dedication, and impactful leadership do not go unnoticed.
The Coordinator of the Advocacy Forum, Engr Mathias Murtala Yahaya, while speaking through the media, emphasized that Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho), has continued to distinguish himself among his peers in the National Assembly. He stated:
“I would like to sincerely appreciate the Senate President for identifying and appointing our finest brain and Igala pride, Senator Isah Jibrin, as the Vice Chairman of this noble committee. He is a first-class leader, one who has represented Kogi East with excellence and commitment like never before. His impact is visible in all sectors, from human capital development to job creation, infrastructure, and empowerment. We are confident that this appointment will further strengthen his ability to bring meaningful development to our district.
“As Senator Echocho embarks on this new phase of leadership, the Kogi East Advocacy Forum For True Democracy, urges the people of Kogi East to unite in support of his mission. They emphasized that progress can only be achieved when leaders and constituents work together towards a common goal.
“We congratulate the Senator and the good people of Kogi East on this great achievement. It is now our collective responsibility to rally behind him and offer the necessary support to ensure that he succeeds in his new role. The development of Kogi East and North Central Nigeria depends on the effectiveness of our leaders, and with Senator Echocho at the helm, we are confident that brighter days lie ahead.”
The group further assured the Senator of their continued support beyond 2027, as the Forum resolved in their recent monthly meeting to drum support and ensure your return to the Senate comes 2027.
