Council of Ulama’u Okunland Branch Visits Provost, KSCOE (Technical)

The Council of Ulama’u of Nigeria, Okunland Branch, led by its Chairman, Imam (Alh.) Muhammed Ameen Aremu, has paid a solidarity visit to Dr. M.K. Ibrahim, Provost, Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa.
Delivering the Council’s message during the visit to the Provost’s office in Mopa, Imam Aremu expressed immense joy over Dr. Ibrahim’s appointment, describing it as both a recognition of his commitment, competence, and dedication to the field of education, as well as a historic milestone for the College.
According to the Chairman, Dr. Ibrahim’s emergence as the Provost is a great source of pride and encouragement to the entire Muslim community. He prayed that Almighty Allah grant him wisdom, strength, and guidance to uphold the noble principles and ethics of Islam as enshrined in the Qur’an and Sunnah, so that his leadership would bring progress and blessings to the College.
Imam Aremu assured the Provost of the Council’s unwavering support through prayers and wise counsel as he embarks on this noble responsibility of academic leadership.
Responding, Dr. M.K. Ibrahim, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff, and Students of the College, warmly welcomed the delegation to the institution, expressing that his joy knows no bounds for their thoughtful visit and prayers. He thanked the Council for identifying with him, describing the moment as both fulfilling and spiritually uplifting.
The Provost further revealed that the College staff have been successfully relocated to Mopa, adding that with the help of God, infrastructural development has already begun, while construction of additional permanent structures will commence soon on the campus.
He emphasized that, by the special grace of God, the development of the College will be monumental, and commended benefactors who have identified with the institution, especially those who have pledged to sponsor students in various programmes.
Members on the entourage of the Chairman included: Imam Ahmed Abubakar Ejibunu, Zonal Chairman Kogi West; Imam Aremu Abduganiyu, Secretary; Imam Yusuf Babalola, Financial Secretary and Imam of Mopa; Imam Tajudeen Ilyas, Chief Imam of Ayetoro; Alh. Sulaiman Abubakar, Welfare Chairman; and Mallam Alilu Saliu, Assistant Secretary.
The highlight of the visit was a special prayer session led by Chief Imam of Mopa, Yusuf Babalola seeking Allah’s continued guidance, protection, and success for the Provost and the entire College community.
